How we handle information when you use Plumber.org.uk.

Contacting us

When you use our contact form, we use your name, email address and message to receive, respond to and manage your enquiry. Your email address is used as the reply address. Please do not include payment details or sensitive information that is not needed for your enquiry.

Messages are sent through Resend to our Gmail inbox, so Resend and Google process the email as service providers. We do not store form submissions in a website database or use them for marketing. There are no attachments, visitor accounts or mailing-list subscriptions. Correspondence may remain in our mailbox while needed to handle and keep a record of your enquiry; it is not automatically deleted when you close this page.

To ask about your contact information or request its deletion, contact us using the form. We may need to retain correspondence where there is a legitimate operational or legal reason.

Using the website

Guide searches run in your browser; your search text is not sent to our server. This site has no analytics scripts or advertising cookies. Our web server records standard page requests, including IP addresses, for operation and security.

The contact endpoint uses your IP address transiently for rate limiting. It does not record normal access logs or log message content. There is no stored submissions queue: if sending fails, your entered text stays in the form so you can retry. A successful response means our email provider accepted the message; it does not guarantee inbox delivery.

Planning tools

The guide selector and plumber-visit checklist process choices in your browser. They do not send selections to us, store them in a database, use browser storage or require personal details. A copied, downloaded or printed checklist is under your control. Following a guide link creates an ordinary page request, covered above.
